How this site handles information
Privacy policy
Nelson Solutions aims to collect only what is useful for operating this website, understanding consented usage, and responding when someone chooses to contact us.
Plain-language policy. This page describes the current website implementation. It is not legal advice or a certification of compliance. Professional legal review is recommended before relying on it as definitive advice.
1. Who operates this website
This website is operated by Nelson Solutions, based in New Brunswick and serving businesses across Canada. Questions about privacy can be sent to nicholas.nelson783@gmail.com.
2. Information you choose to provide
You may choose to provide information when you email Nelson Solutions, use an assistant, request a discovery call, or use an interactive demonstration. That information may include your name, email address, phone number, business details, and the contents of your message or request.
Please do not enter confidential, financial, health, authentication, or other sensitive information into a demonstration assistant or public website field. We use the information you provide to respond to you, understand the request, provide a requested service, maintain the site, and keep appropriate records of the interaction.
3. Information collected automatically
When optional consent is granted, analytics and marketing tools may receive information such as the page viewed, route transitions, referring source, campaign parameters, browser/device information, and anonymous interaction categories. The site’s first-party event layer is designed not to send message text, assistant transcripts, voice content, payment identifiers, form contents, or other free text.
Netlify hosts the application and may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website. The site does not create its own visitor fingerprint or custom identity system.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Necessary technologies support site operation and consent management. With permission, analytics technologies help us understand site usage, and marketing technologies help us measure visits from channels such as Facebook and LinkedIn. Functional third-party features may use their own storage when you use the booking or payment demonstrations.
See the Cookie Policy for categories and controls. The CookieYes preference interface is the source of the current provider-managed cookie scan and can be reopened through Cookie Settings in the footer.
5. Analytics and session behaviour
Google Tag Manager is the site’s analytics control plane. It can manage Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity only after the relevant Analytics consent is granted. Clarity is configured with masking, and the site explicitly masks assistant panels, transcripts, composers, booking surfaces, and payment surfaces. We do not intentionally send assistant prompts, responses, voice transcripts, card data, PaymentIntent IDs, client secrets, or raw error messages to analytics.
Analytics events use stable categories such as page view, demo action, assistant start, CTA click, booking CTA click, and scroll depth. Standard campaign parameters may be used for attribution when they do not contain personal information.
6. Marketing and advertising technologies
With Marketing/Advertisement consent, Google Tag Manager may activate the Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure marketing traffic and campaign performance. These tags are not intended to receive names, email addresses, phone numbers, assistant content, form contents, or hashed personal information. Without that consent, the site does not intentionally activate those tags.
7. AI assistants
The website includes text and voice assistant demonstrations powered by Vapi. When you use an assistant, the relevant request, audio session, and operational metadata may be processed by Vapi and the assistant configuration used for the demonstration. Do not submit information that you do not want processed by an external AI service. Nelson Solutions does not use assistant transcripts or voice content as analytics event parameters.
8. Booking provider
The discovery-call page uses Cal.com to display and operate the booking experience. If you book a meeting, the information needed by the booking flow is provided to Cal.com and the meeting organizer. A booking CTA or an opened embed is not treated as a completed booking by the site unless a reliable provider callback confirms completion.
9. Payment provider
The payment-processing page is an illustrative Stripe test/sandbox demonstration. Stripe.js and the Stripe Payment Element may process technical payment-demo data when you use that feature. The site does not send card details, billing details, client secrets, PaymentIntent IDs, or Stripe response bodies to analytics. The payment demonstration does not represent a live purchase.
10. Service providers and cross-border processing
Depending on the feature used and your consent choices, information may be processed by Netlify, CookieYes, Google (including Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics), Microsoft (Clarity), Meta, LinkedIn, Vapi, Cal.com, and Stripe. These providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other countries where they operate. Each provider’s own terms and privacy documentation may apply.
11. Purposes and legal basis
We use information to operate and secure the website, provide requested assistant, booking, or demonstration functionality, respond to inquiries, understand consented performance, measure marketing traffic where permitted, improve services, and meet reasonable business or legal obligations. Optional analytics and marketing technologies are activated based on the choices made in the CookieYes consent interface. You can withdraw those choices later.
12. Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to respond to a request, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Provider retention periods may be controlled by the provider’s settings and policies; this site does not promise a fixed period where one has not been verified.
13. Security
Reasonable safeguards are used for the website and its integrations, including server-side handling of private integration credentials, HTTPS delivery, restricted browser configuration, validation of server requests, and privacy-safe analytics payloads. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
14. Access, correction, and privacy questions
To ask about information associated with an inquiry, request correction, or raise a privacy concern, email nicholas.nelson783@gmail.com. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information in your first message. We may need to verify the request and may be limited by records held by a third-party provider.
15. Updates
This policy may change when the website, providers, consent configuration, or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page, and the footer links to the Privacy, Cookies, and Terms pages.
